| I accede to with most of the pros and cons already covered by other reviews. Top of mind for me are good for the payment and compact but not the best quality especially on audio pick up and lighting. Could be a nice value - however the big ding for me that I haven't seen mentioned is RCA's customer marines. We paid $74.71 for the camera including shipping then unfortunately dropped it the very first day. The fetch for repair ($74 flat fee for this model) plus shipping was accepted to cost 20% more that what I paid for a new one???? They should just say there is no warranty whatsoever. Why would anyone in their aright mind have it repaired with terms like that? My other bit of advice is two fold. Be very on purpose with the camera because any knock could be fatal and do not purchase as a substitute for a youngish sprog as it will be broken pronto. I hesitated to purchase a grown up camera for my daughter but every camcorder made for kids had disagreeable reviews and many recommended spending a few extra bucks to get something much better (e.g. RCA Trifling Wonder). I rationalized that she'd managed to care of her Nintendo DS easy on the eyes well for more than a year so it was worth a shot. I lost that gamble. Now the lens is completely smashed (from one drop) but surprisingly seems to still be taking somewhat decent photos and video looking at. Appreciatively the vendor through Amazon was willing to take a return for a 15% restocking fee but we solid to let our daughter keep her $75 mistake as is. On the bright side we won't be hounding her as much to be careful now and when she uses it she'll be reminded to mind to mom and dad next time and take better care of her stuff. If that lessons sticks for existence it will have been a cheap one in the grand scheme. ______________________ in the night garden toys coats of arms
