Default How to rip DVD to iPod and put converted movies to iPod step by step

Recently, I’ve got an iPod Classic, and become one of the numerous users of iPod. Of course, one of the things I most probably want to do is put movies on it. After all, despite the small screen, movies really do look great on the iPod, and it’s a lot easier to carry around than a laptop or a portable DVD player.

Thanks to iPod have strict audio & video formats limitations, I had to turn my DVDs into iPod-compatible files, such as iPod MP4, MP3, AAC, and M4A. However, it’s really frustrating for a fresh user to convert DVD to iTunes on Mac OS X, and then put them to iPod. After experiencing converting difficulties time and time again, one of my friends told me by chance: “Using Pavtube DVD to iPod Converter for Mac couldn’t be much easier.” Afterwards, I had a try about it. To be honest, compared with other Mac iPod Converters, Pavtube DVD to iPod Converter for Mac is more convenient and easy-to-use, and it is just enough to transfer DVD to the above mentioned formats: iPod MP4, MP3, AAC, and M4A.
To bring the great convenience to more iPod users, I’d like to share Pavtube DVD to iPod Converter for Mac with all of you. If you are iPod Nano, iPod Video, iPod Classic or iPod Touch owners, and just want to convert your DVDs to your portable iPod in an easy way, and then please pay a little attention to my account below.

Have a look at the following picture. It’s the main interface of Pavtube DVD to iPod Converter for Mac:

What you should do is just download Pavtube DVD to iPod Converter for Mac, insert your DVD, and then launch the application.

You can Change subtitle, audio track and angle in real time, and select format, adjust settings, choose where to save your movies as well as doing some further editing, such as trimming and cropping. If you need some images for future use, you can also take snapshots and save them. While completing above steps, you can click “Convert” to do the conversion. When conversion is finished, simply drag the resulting movie file into iTunes, and the next time you sync, the movie will be copied to your iPod.

Right, it is so easy!

By the way, I’d like to write more about iTunes & iPod sync. iTunes includes several options to automatically or manually sync videos to your iPod Nano, iPod Video, iPod Classic or iPod Touch. While you finished converting DVDs to MP4 or some other iPod compatible formats and dragging the file into iTunes, afterwards, please comply with following steps.

Type 1: Syncing videos automatically

1. Select your “iPod” in the “DEVICES” section of the iTunes source list.

2. In the main iTunes browser window, select the “Movies” tab. Then select the option to sync all movies, selected movies, or a certain number of recent unwatched movies.

3. Click “Apply” and iTunes will begin syncing the content you've selected to your iPod. TIP: The iTunes LCD will display the sync progress and notify you when the iPod sync is completed.

Type 2: Syncing videos manually
Select your “iPod” in the “DEVICES” section of the iTunes source list (The same with step 1 of automatically mode).

Select the “Summary” tab in the main iTunes of browser window.

3. Select the "Manually manage music and videos" option. This will deselect the automatic sync settings for the Music, Movies, and TV Shows tabs. Note: When manually managing iPod, disk use is enabled and iPod must always be manually ejected in iTunes before disconnecting.

4. Click “Apply”, iTunes will inform you when the iPod sync is finished.
Selecting your preferred way to sync movies from iTunes to iPod, and then you can enjoy your be-loved DVD movies anytime and anywhere on your iPod.

It is not difficult, right? Wish my article could give you some useful info when it comes to sync movies from iTunes to iPod on Mac.

Back to the starting point, Pavtube DVD to iPod Converter for Mac could help you convert DVDs into iPod-compatible files, such as iPod MP4, MP3, AAC, and M4A in an absolutely easy way. If you have any troubles when converting Mac DVDs to iPod, you could consider having a try with it. I am the lucky dog, so I hope more iPod users could get exact help and convenience from it.

Switch the iPod to manual update and enable disk use.

* Open iTunes on your computer.
* Connect your iPod to your computer and wait for it to appear in iTunes.
* Select your iPod under the Devices section to display your iPod preferences in the main library window.
* Click the Summary tab in the main iTunes window.
* Choose Enable disk use.
* Apply this setting.
Transfer iPod photos to computer.
1. Directly move the iPod (disk use) photos to computer:
Copy→Paste, Drag→Drop
2. If you sync photos to your iPod with iTunes using the “Include full-resolution photos” option, you can open your iPod in “My computer”, open the photos folder then open the “Full Resolution” folder and drag the photos out of that folder to your computer or copy and paste the folder onto your computer.

3. If you sync photos to your iPod with iTunes without clicking on the “Include full-resolution photos” option, you may have to try some program to do, e.g., CopyTrans Photo but the photos as thumbnails won’t be of the original quality when copied back to your computer. So when you put your photos onto your iPod, ensure to choose the “Include full-resolution photos” option.

PS:
Hope above information could be of some help to you. If you would like to convert DVD to H.264, MP3, WAV, M4A, and AAC compatible with iPod, please refer to Pavtube DVD to iPod Converter.
Moreover, there are some free iPod Touch Wallpapers to download.
