Default Windows DVD Maker doesn't recognize my DVD Burner

When I was trying to make a DVD in Windows DVD Maker, the drop down menu in
the upper right corner was empty. So I cannot select a drive to burn. When I
clik "next" and then "burn", DVD Maker displays the following error message:

"A DVD bruner was not found. Make sure a DVD burner is connected and
installed, and then try again.

I've done some things to reslove this problem:

- Uninstalled all my DVD drives
- Changed drive letters
- Upgraded firmware
- Disabled my DVD reader and DAEMON Tools' Virtual Drive
- Checked BIOS settings (All normal)
- Checked Windows Update (nothing found for Windows DVD Maker)
- Checked Registry keys (all ok)

None of these steps made a difference...

Sow uhm, if anyone has another solution, let me know asap!

Thx!
