you need to Ethernet cable to connect the unit to your computer. If you have the whole camera package you should have a cord that will connect right to the computer. If not then the first step would be going to a local electronics store and asking your question, then getting the cable to connect your camera with the computer port. A screen should pop up and ask you if you want to view or load this information. This is what I do with my computer so I'm giving you past experience information. Hope this helped, good luck.
